I AM OFFICIALLY A DAD!

Just this morning, I confirmed my speculations about the reason why my wife was delayed in her menstruation cycle. The Ob-GYNE told us that we are now expecting a life inside the womb of my wife. I am so happy to hear that from our doctor. I thought I was a WISE GUY or as translated, WAY SEMILYA AND LAGAY! I think I don't want to translate this because I will be hurting so many guys out there who is physically challenged in making babies.

Since last week, my wife was telling me about the delay in her menstrual cycle and I was wondering how come this happened since she has a regular schedule. But enough of that. I have crossed a new boundary in my life. I am now entering as a father. We have to come back again next week to confirm the growth of the baby. My wife has to relax and don't stay late, eat plenty of nutritious foods and medical vitamins for my baby.

Just last night, me and my wife were laughing and discussing on what will be the name of our baby soon it will be born into this world. What we agreed was she will give the name if is it is a girl and I will give the name if it is a boy. I think for the first time we reached a fair level in our discussion. Unlike before, she has always the last say and when I start to open my mouth and say my point, that's another issue to talk about. LOL!

TENSION ARISES

The election is fast approaching and many things are happening right now. Last Monday, 47 and counting were massacred is Maguindanao area. According to reports, the victims were on their way to the Commission On Election to file the certificate of candidacy for the position of governor of Maguindanao. In the victims, 30+ people were media personnel covering the momentus event to happen when the Esmael "Toto" Mangudadatu file his official candidacy for the governor of the Maguindanao region. The suspect of the massacre is the Ampatuan family, a relative of the Mangudadatu family.

The victims were hi-jacked and brought to an inhabited area and were killed. The killers attempted to hide the bodies by burying them immediately using the backhoe of the Provincial office of Ampatuan. The event has already reached the boiling point and the president has already issued a state of emergency in the area to prevent more bloodshed in Maguindanao.

The two families in conflict right now are said to be relatives and the election next year has changed to climate among the two families. Dead bodies are still counting as the government troops dig more dead bodies in several mass graves in the killing site.

READING A WONDERFUL MAGAZINE

This is a hard admission that I am saying right now. I really don't read often such as books, newspapers or other reading materials. But this time something encourages me to read a magazine. The magazine was bought by my wife when she went to the grocery store for the grocery items for the house. It was K Magazine and it was owned by Kris Aquino. The magazine was not just the ordinary type of magazine that you can read. It has something inside it that motivates me to read it.

The magazine was all about Kris Aquino's experiences before and after the death of her mother, Cory Aquino. The magazine was very encouraging and full of lessons that we can share to others each day. I would admit that tears fell from my eyes as I read the magazine. In the magazine, it talks about the life when Cory Aquino was still alive. She was very down to earth and she lived a simple life. Despite her affluent family background, she was very mass in all her actions. I would say, she is one of the best presidents that the Philippine had.

Living in a life of affluence is tempting to change ones behavior toward others. Before Cory Aquino became the president, he was just a housewife. Her husband was the former senator Ninoy Aquino, who was assassinated in the international airport upon arrival from the USA. He was a hero. After his death, Cory Aquino took the responsibility in challenging the dictator. The election result was in favor for Ferdinand Marcos. But the people was sure that Cory Aquino won the election. That was the start of People Power Revolution.

There were so many things that happened in this year. Kris Aquino narrated the events in the magazine and said about the life with her mom and after her death. The Aquino family is slowly recovering from the death of their mother. I must that the magazine was the best magazine I ever red. I would really recommend this magazine to all.

MANNY PACQUIAO SHOULD BE A ROLE MODEL

Manny Pacquiao is much known as the "Pacman" and already swarmed the Philippines because of his popularity among the masses. He has been tagged as the next congressman and many are after his endorsement. But the latest win of Manny Pacquiao is not much as famous than his new fling affair with the actress and columnist, Krista Ranillo. I believe that many are aware that the two are having an affair.

The news scattered after the subtle disclosement of Manny Pacquiao's wife, Jinkee Pacquiao about her husband's love affair with the young actress, Krista Ranillo. She has not yet admitted the issue but silence means yes. Manny Pacquiao refuses to give any statement about that but as I say, silence means yes.

Manny PAcquiao is a role model for the people and this being role model should also be in the whole. Manny Pacquiao is a married man and his affair with Krista Ranillo is a sign of immaturity. They say, man are by nature polygamous. Yes, that's true. But only if you are single and unmarried. In the case of Pacquiao, he is a big familyman already and has kids. Manny Pacquiao should think about this mess that he is right now or else the people would rather place their bets on Mayweather rather than Manny Pacquiao.

I AM THE MASTER OF THE CEREMONY

We were talking in the office about the upcoming Christmas party this coming 19th of December. I has been agreed that the office departments will have to perform a presentation number. But our department has never practiced any form of presentation, unlike our counterparts in the office. They have already prepared their presentation and is in constant practice just to win the price of the contest during the Christmas party.

Late this afternoon, I was told that we will no longer make a presentation and that means no practice like the other departments. But our department has something to do in the celebration and that is to be the master of ceremony for the night. My office mate told me that I will be just one of the host and more.

Honestly, I am a little scared about the idea. No scripts and no key notes, everything will be done extemporaneously by the members of our department. I need to buy costumes for the party and but I don't know what to wear for the event. I am very confident that the hosting task will be completed with no glitch at all.

MANNY PACQUIAO DOMINATED THE FIGHT

As expected, Manny Pacquiao dominated the fight against Puerto Rican fighter, Miguel Cotto. The boxing match was scheduled 12 rounds but the result of the match was already decided in the second round. Miguel Cotto showed power and eagerness to win but not enough. At the second round, Miguel Cotto's defense collapsed as he received bombs of punches from Manny Pacquiao. Round one, goes to Miguel Cotto and the rest of the round were in favor of Manny Pacquiao.

The referee did a good job in the ring. he was very fair in his calls. At the 12 round, he decided to stop the match to prevent further damage on the face of Miguel Cotto. Total destruction was the appropriate word to describe the face of Miguel Cotto after the match. In my opinion, it was one of the worthy opponents of Manny Pacquiao. It went the distance and others who predicted the match would end early was calm down.

Manny Pacquiao is bound to face the undisputed, undefeated Pretty Boy Mayweather Jr. Manny Pacquiao is now 7 division champion. Few boxers have gone to this kind of winning. Next year, Mayweather might challenge Manny Pacquiao for a match. The best pound for pound will face the former pound for pound champion, Mayweather.

COTTO VS PACQUIAO

Tomorrow is a big day for it the fight of two of the most respected boxers in this generation, Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto, as they fight their brains out in the four-cornered ring in MGM grand hotel. This is a title match, Miguel Cotto defends his belt and while Manny Pacquiao plans to receive his 7 division title.

Many analyst are making their comments and wild guess on who is going to win the fight. In my opinion, both boxers are good boxers and deserve to win. But in this fight it is early to predict a win either both sides for the reason of, both boxers trained for this match and I don't believe that one will give up for the others victory.

I saw some movie clips of Cotto and Pacquiao. Both boxers are excellent fighters, they victoriously fought several opponents as they climb the ladder of success in boxing. Based on my observation, Miguel Cotto is a body puncher. Most of his fight that he won are body punches that ended his opponents in a convincing manner. He has a good record and his lost was even a controversial one. Miguel Cotto is a silent operator and can end a match in 2 minutes in round one. He has a strong hands, most of his opponents would testify to that. Manny Pacquiao is a speed and power combination. This southpaw fighter knows how to use both hands for his advantage. He destroyed several Mexican fighters and famous Oscar Dela Hoya. Manny Pacquiao right now is the favorite boxer. Bets in Las Vegas shows that many are placing their bets on Manny Pacquiao rather than Miguel Cotto.

ROAD ACCIDENTS CAN HAPPEN ANYTIME

My late decisions made me realized that I have to meet somebody important tonight. It was my plan last Sunday to meet with Oneal, the person who was renting at the commercial space that I am managing. When I was there last Sunday, Oneal was not there. So I told his cousin that I will be back on Monday.

I prepared myself and put on some clothes and start the car ignition. I was on a stoplight when I noticed a fast moving motorcycle sounding strong as it approach me. I was not able to look at the plate number because the motorcycle was so fast, like he was on a hurry and going to meet somebody just like me. I left him to pass me, as I was making a sharp right turn, I noticed a taxi on hold and the hazard light was lit. I slowly passed the taxi and noticed a motorcycle and the rider on the ground. Then I realized, that was the motorcycle that was raging fast passed me. The driver was unconscious and the bike was a wreck. A few minutes later, the 911 rescue team was already on the scene and gave first aid to the driver of the motorcycle.

I immediately realized that road safety should always comes first. If I chased the motorcyle, I probably might be the one that hit it and caused bodily injury to the driver of the motorcycle. Just a piece of advise to all, always practice defensive driving at all times. It may save lives and protect propery from damages due to car or vehicular accidents.

GREAT OPPORTUNITY IN HAVING A BLOG

Many people right now are owning a personal blog. Most sites in the internet are made out from a blog post. A blog is a diary of event that happen to the person-blogger in his.her daily life. I was first introduced to blogging by my friend who happens to be a blogger. She thought me all the things that I need to know about blog. When I first posted in my blog, I was scarred about it. I am well informed about having a diary and sharing it is another point to consider. My first post was just about myself and the rest was history.

Through blogging, I developed friendships. Friends that I don't see and touch, but they are always there giving my advises through the use of my blog. The episode of Time Magazine is timely for the Filipino country. We are down right now because of our leaders, who trusted to bring us to heaven. But instead they brought us to hell. ENTREPRENEURSHIP

I was sitting in the bus this afternoon on my way home when I noticed one lady across me reading something. I not ognorant of seeing somebody reading in the bus. But what was more interesting to see is that she was reading an entrepreneur book or it was a magazine. What was more motivating as I was watching her was the line that says: in times of financial difficulty that the world is experiencing right now, it would be best to try entrepreneurship.

I think that magazine is really a good one to read because of the motivation that it gives to the reader. I think that is right. In times like this, we need to invest. As many loses their jobs because of mass lay-off, entrepreneurship is the best option that we have right now as we face the opportunities ahead of us.

It is very easy to say to engage in entrepreneurship. But the problem is, what type of business are you going to engage? Basically, that is an easy question to answer. What is you passion or thing you like to do? The answer to that question is the best business you can engage to. Let us be business people and not just workers.

BLOG TEMPLATES REALLY LOOKS GOOD

I have been blogging for about two years now and ever since my blog template remains unchanged. My other friends would tell me to change the template so that my blog would look good because of the cool graphics and pictures that a blog would have if I change it. That idea was okay. But I don't know how to change it and also afraid that something might go wrong when I change it.

To face my fears about the matter, I decided to practice changing my blog's template. I created a temporary blog and then I got a XML template. Then I removed the original script of the blog and I pasted the XML script. After pasting it, the temporary blog has a cool template already. I finally conquered my fear about changing blog template.

To share what I know, I changed my friend's blog template into a new one. Three column template is cool to look at compared to the traditional two column template. I am think about changing my first blog's template to a new radical one but I have some things to consider. My blog has several link embedded in the with the blog script. Aside from the links to my friends will be gone if I change my template. I think I have to weight things before I change my blog's template.

PROMISED GOOD FUTURE

I was watching the television last night and I saw politicians' adds on television. I realized that I really cannot identify the wolf from the sheep when it is campaigning period. Politicians promised the electorate of good future and prosperity. But once already in the position, its thank you for all. promises are made to be broken. Politicians can attest to that. How I wish that our country will be free from the bondage of corruption.

This country is a good one, but the leaders are vampires sucking blood out from its own countrymen. Our country is down and listed as one of the top countries as most corrupt among others. This now the right time change that and make it happen. We must elect people who are deserving for the position. Traditional politicians should be eradicated from this country for good.

I was reading the newspaper the other day. It was about Brunei, their culture and economy. How I wish the Philippines was like Brunei. They have zero rate in corruption and other ill behavior of a country. Medical and surgical needs of its citizens are well taken care and fees are very affordable. No crimes and no poverty, they are a rich country and going strong. Their citizens are well provided by their government. People living in Brunei are proud to be citizens of their country.

ALL SAINTS DAY

Many people right now are going to the cemetery to visit their departed love ones. As expected, many people would be visible in the graveyard than in the malls. All saints day is the only day dedicated to those who already passed away. It old belief, all saints day is said to be the day that souls of dead people would get up and socialize with their visiting relatives. That is why every all saints day you would see many horror movies about ghosts and other elements that could frighten people.

In some countries, the term Halloween is used and they would dress up in many scary costumes. From vampires, mummy, elf and even Osama Bin Laden are now being part of Halloween scary costumes. Like always, we would visit our departed relatives in all saints day. I just got home from the cemetery. I am all wet and in chill because of the heavy rain that poured like hell! I like that term!

Things like candles, flowers, gravestone artist are very visible during all saints day. I think celebrating all saints day is good. Because we get to remember our departed love ones as they sleep eternally six feet below the ground. Just a little trivia. Did you know why it is called six feet below the ground? Well, it is because that is the prescribed by the health office that a cadaver should be dug and covered with soil. Less that six feet would mean that the dead body's smell would still come out of the ground. Nobody wants to smell a cadaver that would be unsanitary to all.
