Football is not a sport that many Filipinos admire too watch. That's a fact about the game here in the Philippines. But that is about to change now that the football game is gaining popularity among the Filipinos thanks to the Philippine Football Team or better known as the Philippine Azcals.
Basketball is the no.1 game here in the country. I was passing an elementary school the other day and I saw kids were playing in the basketball court. They were not playing basketball but they were playing football or soccer. The team Philippine Azcals has really influenced the younger generation right now. They may have not qualified for the World Cup series but still the Philippine Azcals manage to make a mark in the hearts of every Filipino.
