VALENTINE RUSH

I was in the mall this afternoon and observed the people around. Love is really in the air right now. There were many events schedule for the big day. Many stalls are selling chocolates and flowers, the typical things for Valentines Day. Many are also wearing colored red shirts anything that would signify the event. There is also this Lavapalooza thing. This is an event held a day before valentines day. Many single and married couples wait for the clock as it hit the 12 o'clock making the day the official valentines day. They will kiss and hold on for several seconds. I once attended the event but I did not stay long until the big hour. Many couple were kissing already even the 12 o'clock time has yet to come. There is a big concert that is going to happen this valentines day. I wish the government would declare the day a holiday so that families would have more time to each other and feel the essence of valentines day.
