Right now the world financial problem is starting to make its presence felt. This evening I went to a nearby city. For there is where I and my business partners buy our rice that we sell to our customers. When we first started, the price of rice per sack was just 1,300 pesos. In fact, that was a special price that was given to us by the rice dealer. We were able to buy the sack of rice at that amount. But tonight is a little different. We bought the sack of rice at 1,370 pesos. According to the owner, she cannot reduce or give us the same price because rice expensive right now.
Instead of engaging in argument, we decided to buy the rice in that amount specified to us. By this latest price that we got, we are planning to increase our retail amount of the rice per kilo. we are selling our rice at 32 per kilo. Because of the increase we might be pricing our rice at 33 per kilo. We allow our customers to have the rice on credit and it is payable by means of salary deduction.
In times like this we need to be wise and smart in everything that we do. It is not enough to earn by salary alone. We must find another means to augment our income. There is an old saying that the wealth of the world is revolving around, it is just a matter of how you catch in and make it your own.
By next week, we are planning to enter into the purchase order business. This is a business that my mother has been doing since we were in school. By this kind of business, we would be earning another 5% of the goods purchase by our customer. I know it is a little bit new. But I know me and my friend would be able to master this and earn more.
