Aside from the new year's day in January 1, the Chinese also celebrate the entry of the new year in another day. Kung Hei Fat Choi is the term they use for the new year. This year is the year of the Ox. Chinese have many belief about the manner in accepting the new year. There are certain foods that are prohibited to serve or else bad luck for the entire year. There are also foods that must be present in welcoming the year of the Ox.
Early this afternoon, my aunt treated us to a Kung Hei Fat Choy dinner at Sunburst Restaurant in Tiongko avenue. It was my first time to dine there and it was a great experience. Their Pata cooking was the best I tasted and their chicken was excellently cooked and spiced to get the real taste of chicken. My aunt paid for all the foods that we eated and wish us good luck as we depart from each other.
This year of the Ox is a good year to start your own business. I would suggest that you start a business that is related or in a way there is an influence of the ox. Starting this business would really flourish since you start the year right. Go for it! Be a an entreprenuer and make opportunities rather than wait for it. Happy Kung Hei Fat Choy to all bloggers!
