I started blogging in 2007 and it was a very exciting day for me. Blogging was something that I was looking for before until a friend taught me along with my other friends. There were two reasons why I entered blogging. One, was to just let my thought go wild and share it to other. That is the real reason why blogging was created. Second, To earn bucks out from blogging task from different pay to blog sites. Basically that were the two reason why I entered blogging.
In blogging, the first 3 months is very crucial. It is because it is a make or break thing. Just pregnancy, blogging also call it first trimester in blogging. Here, your blog must establish it's page rank. Gaining page rank is very important to all bloggers. Let is just put it this way, the higher the page rank of your blog, the better it will earn. That is the very essence of having a page rank. When my blog gained it Page Rank 3, I was in heaven already. Many bloggers find it hard to reach this status, maybe. Google is the main site that establish page rank to blogs.
But as they say "nothing in this world remain constant, except change." That is a statement that also applies to blogging. You can have a page rank in a day and lose it the following day. Page rank is not permanent it is just temporary, depending on your site's popularity. In a month, I was able to earn around 300-500 dollars a month. That was already good for a blogger. I was able to keep my page rank for almost 11 months. Until one day, when I checked its page rank, it was ZERO.
My world collapsed when I found out that I no longer have a page rank. I was stunned with the event. After losing my page rank, opportunities to earn mellow and was extinct. It is very hard to keep something that you don't own. That applies to page rank also. Many believed that once you lose your page rank, you will never gain it back. But that is not true. Many of my blogging friend lost their page rank but able to regain it back.
Acceptance is the key in order to survive and accept the fact that you no longer have a page rank. It took me almost 5 months before I accepted my fate in blogging. No page rank, no tasks for you. Once you lose your page rank, others would suggest to create a new blog. But I did not do that. This blog still and will be my blog.
