regularly during Sundays, our family would meet each other and celebrate the day by dining and the food would always be potluck. This is an old tradition about potluck. In ancient times in China, bringing of food to a gathering is a way of driving in good chi and brings harmony to the family. That is the reason why Chinese people are very close to each other. This old tradition still remains in this modern generation where the best food is the fast food. Potluck is the best way to celebrate any occasion. Harmony and Unity symbolizes every pot of food brought in the table brings luck to everyone in the family. The word potluck was derive from two words, pot and luck. Happy eating!
