Jean Lacaba, one of the three hostages of the Abu Sayyaf, was released just this evening. After 3 months of being captive by the Abu Sayyaf Group, she was freed. The war is still on going right now and there are two remaining hostages namely, Andreas Notter (Swiss National) and Eugenio Vagni (Italian). She was admitted to a hospital after the release. This is part of the standard operating procedure when a hostage has been released for medical check up. The International Committee Red Cross was very happy of this recent development.
