THE RED CROSS EMBLEM WON'T SAVE YOU

Last January, three International Red Cross Volunteers were abducted by suspected Abu Sayyaf rebels. These volunteers were Andreas Notter (Swiss National), Eugenio Vagni (Italian) and Jean Lacaba (Filipino). These three red cross volunteers were doing a humanitarian effort to improve the condition of Julu Provincial Jail detainees when they were abducted by the Abu Sayyaf Group in Patikul Julu Sulu. The Chariman of the International Red Cross in the Phillipines, Sen. Richard Gordon is the one making the negotiations for the release of these three hostages of kidnapped volunteers.

It's been three months already and yet the volunteers are still held against their will by the Abu Sayyaf. The ASG is a bunch of stupid people fighter for their own selfish ideology. Actually, they don't have one. The International Red Cross is a neutral group which it's main concern and the reason for existence is to help and make humanitarian missions to areas and countries that needs their help. But this abduction only shows that Abu Sayyaf Group is all a bunch of criminals and stupid fighters of unbalanced mind. They are not fighting for a cause.

The Abu Sayyaf has made demand for government force pull-out in the area and by doing it, they will release one hostage. In my opinion, this demand and salvation move made by the Abu Sayyaf is just a clear and visible intention of fooling around. During the time of former president Joseph Estrada, he proved that this moro rebels are can be conquered. I strongly believe that this is a war that has started and has not yet ended. Cease fire and truce is not an option. Let the government once and for all end this war. We are in the mockery of of all nations in the world. Let us destroy the ASG for good and let peace reign in Mindanao.

Many would say that the RED CROSS EMBLEM is a sign of safety and neutrality. But in this happening, even the good guys with no intention of arms are being persecuted and soon to be killed. No more peace negotiations, truce or any mercy to these left groups.
