At exactly 8:30 pm last night, the world participated in a world effort in preventing global warming. This valiant effort is indeed one of those that will last in the book of history. This effort was not made by just few countries, but the countries in the world. Here in our city, lights totally went out for one hour. Some lighted candles and flashlights went on in replacement of the electrical lights. Global Warming is a future threat to the world. It is like a microwave oven, slowly cooking the people here in our planet. Global Warming can be stop or not lessen by making use of some alternative source of energy. When we exhaust less heat, we eventually lessen global warming. There will be more campaigns for global warming in the future. I hope that more and more countries around th world would participate in this humanitarian effort to save the world against Global Warming.
