Thats what I am doing right now. This early morning, me and my wife celebrated our first new year together. I was the one who cooked most of the dishes for the new year celebration. My mother prepared all the cold foods. My wife was the one who prepared and cooked the shrimps, since that is her favorite.
The new year is in deed promising to all. I myself made a wish for this new year. According to old Chinese tradition, in a new year, there must be sweet foods and sticky ones too. For it brings the family closer together. I believe in that traditon. I did it this new year of 2009. I just hope everything will be smooth this year. free from sickness and good fortune to all.
