REMOVING THE UNWANTED HAIRS

Hair removal has become very easy with the advent of various hair removal methods. All these methods have their distinct qualities. So let's have a look at some of the important aspects of various hair removal methods and find out how to choose the best hair removal method.

Any hair removal method that is efficient, convenient and inexpensive can be termed as a good method. It should be effective on all body hair. Also the method should cause minimal pain and side effects.

The most common method is shaving. It allows you to shave off the hair with the help of a razor. You can use normal razors or even electric razors. It is the most inexpensive method. It can be used anywhere on the body and is very fast too.

However shaving will not help you with permanent or long term hair removal. You usually need to repeat it once a day or once in two days. Also it can be painful sometimes. You need to be cautious while using it as razor or shaver can cut the skin or cause any rash, razor burn or red bumps. If you have a very sensitive skin, you may suffer from some skin abruptions too.

Then there is tweezing in which you have to pluck out your hair with a tweezer. It can be very efficient especially if you want to remove the hair from your upper lip, chin or eyebrows. The biggest benefit of tweezing is that once it is done hair would come back in 1 to 2 weeks. Tweezing is very painful and sometimes can cause red skin or ingrown hair. Also, one hair is removed at a time. The process is apt for removing less number of hair thus.

Another method is waxing which involves putting wax on your skin and letting it cool down a little. Then you have to pull it off your skin. This will pluck out the hair from their roots hence the hair growth will be slower. It can help you stay hairless for a period up to 6 weeks. However there is a chance that you may burn your skin or develop some rashes.

You may also try using depilatory creams that help you remove the hair in just three to four minutes. However you have to be careful as the creams may or may not suit every skin type.

You can also try the long term hair removal methods like electrolysis and laser hair removal. Both these methods help you get rid of hair for a period that goes up to 6 months. However both of them may need more than one sitting and may cause some irritation or allergic reaction on your skin. Also they are really expensive.
