MY PRINTER

Take a look at my HP 1510 all-in-one printer. I bought this printer last year. The features of this printer are the following: A scanner. You can scan pictures, cards and other documents. A photocopier. You can make duplicate copies of any document you would like to reproduce in an instant. A printer. You can immediately print your documents that you are editing without any problem. That is where the name all- in - one was derived because of these cool functions.

Aside from the features mentioned, the HP 1510 all-in-one printer also has a Picture Bridge in where you can immediately print your pictures captured by your cell phone or your digital camera without copying files from cell phone/digital camera to your computer by just connecting the USB connector. It really makes fast printing at your fingertips.

The HP 1510 all-in-one printer is very user-friendly printer. The easy to use manual keeps the user always informed of all the features of the printer and how to use it. It gives detailed instructions to the user for a quick and immediate guide. The HP 1510 all-in-one printer has it’s own installer for windows and Macintosh computer units.
My HP 1510 all-in-one printer is truly a best buy. Now, my HP 1510 all-in-one printer is as good as nothing. Last May of this year, I encountered a printer failure. My HP 1510 all-in-one printer has no power and cannot be turn on. After the experienced problem, I immediately brought the printer to the service center (Digital Interface) for HP units here in Davao City.

The service center informed me that the warranty of my HP 1510 all-in-one printer was beyond the 1-year warranty policy just 2 months ago. Painful but I did check the warranty seal and indeed expired as what was said by the service center (Digital Interface). Since the warranty of my HP 1510 printer was beyond the 1-year policy, I have to pay for the service fee for the check up and repair of the printer. After I paid the fee, I immediately left the service center (Digital Interface) with a high spirit that my HP 1510 printer will soon be A OKAY.

After a week of waiting, I called up the service center (Digital Interface) and inquired the status of my HP 1510 all-in-one printer. The service center (Digital Interface) informed me that the reason for the power failure of my HP 1510 all-in-one printer was because of a wet spot on its main board. I immediately went to the service center (Digital Interface) to get more information about the problem. At the service center (Digital Interface), They said to me that the reason for the wet spot on the main board might have been caused my ants or small/tiny insects that have entered my HP 1510 all-in-one printer circuit area. Because of the wet spot (already dried), My HP 1510 all-in-one printer will not turn on or even no power at all.

OK fine. The service center diagnosed my HP 1510 all-in-one printer very well and was able to find the cause of the problem. However, the service center (Digital Interface) told me that my HP 1510 all-in-one printer couldn’t be use anymore because of the problem.

In order to repair the main board, a new main board must replace the old one. It was a good suggestion made. However, the service center (Digital Interface) has no more stock with this kind of main board for my HP 1510 all-in-one printer. Since there was no available stock of the main board, I said to them that I could wait until the stock would arrive. Sad to believe, the service center (Digital Interface) told me that there would be no stocks coming since this kind of printer (1510 all-in-one) was already OBSOLETE (agay!). Just a year since I acquired my printer now it is already obsolete. Thanks to the fast phase of technology I no longer have a printer.

I may have a problem with my obsolete printer, I still believe in Hewlett-Packard Printers. I am looking for a new printer right now. I hope I get a good one this time.
