LOSING LESLIE

Last Sunday, I was reading a newspaper, The Philippine Daily Inquirer. Something captured my attention when I was reading the newspaper. It was a letter written by Mr. Carlo Cruz. It was a letter address to everyone. It was informing his e-group friends that his wife, Leslie Cruz, was one of the casualties of the explosion at Glorietta 2 mall. In the letter, he narrated events that happened before and after the explosion. It was letter that pictured a loving husband who had lost a dear wife and the challenge of explaining to her young daughter that her mama is no longer with them.
