Playing chess has always been my favorite past time since I have started working. The major influence may be is because my office mates are all into this game of mind the strategy. Every lunch time, we always make it sure that we play the game that we are fond of.
Last 2005 , I was one of the organizers of our first chess tournament in our company. It was just a friendly game and the winner was awarded with a silver plate, just a common one nothing special about it. In the tournament, I belong in the class B division along with my friend Junix.
It was really an event which every one talked about. Aside from the game, the most unforgettable was the cheers and screams of all the participant and the trash talking to losing player. It was just a fun game. It was really peaceful in our own way. when the tournament was over, I bagged the second place next to my friend Junix who won the division B. Not bad for an organizer ha!
Many are excited and were asking me when will be the next tournament. Well let's just see because of the time element is so little for preparations and the solicitations for the price of the tournament. In general, every body are excited for the next chess tournament of our company. This time I will take home the bacon.
