BAPTISM, A GIFT OF GOD

Last Sunday I was one of the many who became Godparents to my officemate's son. It was my first to complete the whole ceremony. If I am not mistaken, it is my third time to become a Godparent.

Before the ceremony started, a member of the church gave a brief introductory remarks and hints to what to answer when the priest would ask questions. She was basically giving information to the whole ceremony. When the ceremony stated, all of the clues and hints were never followed by all. When the priest would ask question, the priest would answer the question. What a ceremony right. But over all the ceremony was in order.

After the ceremony we proceeded to the venue to celebrate the baptism and welcoming the child to the christian world and in the arms of Jesus Christ. When I arrived home there is one question in my mind. That question is: what was the name of the child of my officemate? I should always read the invitation next time.
